I in herited them when I got the job, because the previous assistant also had child sized hands. They're about sixty years old and have endured everything a person can imagine a glove enduring...but they're absolutely unrippable and have protected my hands wonderfully. Mind you, I almost NEVER weed out brambles and I never trim my trees. Still, though, every now and again it's good to have hand-protection for removing the occasional triffid.
